Dicamba Ruling
A June 3, 2020 ruling by a federal court has cancelled an EPA registration from 2018 for three dicamba pesticides, Xtendimax, Engenia, and Fexapan, making them illegal to use or distribute. Guidance from the EPA on June 8, 2020, allows those who already own any of the three chemicals to use what they have on hand as of the June 3 ruling, as long as it’s used by July 31, 2020, and is used in a manner consistent with its labelling. https://www.epa.gov/newsreleases/epa-offers-clarity-farmers-light-recent-court-vacatur-dicamba-registrations. Verify with your state agricultural department to determine if there are further restrictions on usage.
